Aaron Jeffery

Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. His roles
include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also
played the role of Matt "FletchThe Fletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth.
Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and relocated to Australia when he was
seventeen years old. He was a student at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993
and began his TV career on the children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is
most well-known for his role as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters,
which he left in 2008. The actor was also a part of the third season of the New
Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was part of the series Underbelly:
Badness as Frank. Filming ended on June 22. A few days later, Jeffery was named
Bradley Fox's replacement on Neighbours for a period of two months. The news
was that Jeffery was given the role of an officer in corrections on Wentworth
on October. He also appeared in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the
Seven Network. In April 2021, it was announced that Jeffery was part of the
upcoming Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her, which is adapted from the Karin
Slaughter novel of the identical title. Jeffery's role on McLeod’s Daughters was
rewarded with the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
