Kristin Lee Davis Bio

Kristin Lee was born in Boulder, Colorado on February 23 in 1965. A single child Her parents divorced when she was still a newborn. Her adoption was by her stepfather's psychology professor Keith Davis, after he got married to her mother Dorothy an academic data analyst in the year 1968. When she was a child, Kristin and her parents relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, where her stepfather was enrolled in a university. She lived in South Carolina from the time she graduated high school in 1983 until this day. After graduation from high school, she moved to New Jersey and attended Rutgers University. After graduation, she relocated to New York where she worked as a waitress before opening her own yoga studio along with a friend. Her show was a huge success when she was chosen to play Brooke Armstrong Campbell (1992) on Melrose Place in 1995. The show ended after one year when producers found that audience members hated her bitchy character. In 1998, Kristin was cast as Charlotte York in Sex and the City (1998), of which she remained an integral cast member until the show ended in 2004. Kristin Davis resides in Los Angeles. Columbia, SC was where her father, a psychologist, transferred her to. After having graduated from Rutgers University, she moved to New York and began her career in commercials and classical theater. Before moving to Melrose Place (1992), she and a friend established a yoga studio. She still enjoys yoga in her free time, and also running and spinning.
